Explore a world of chocolate delights and enjoy a fascinating, fun-packed day out at Cadbury World. Just head south down the A441 from Birmingham city centre for about 3 miles and follow the brown signs. Down in the village of Bournville, you will discover the fascinating story of Cadbury chocolate.

Cadbury World is located in the grounds of the original Cadbury factory, established in 1824 by the company’s founder, John Cadbury.

The Cadbury World tour features 14 zones, which tell the story of chocolate and the history of Cadbury. You’ll discover the origins of the cocoa bean amidst trees and waterfalls in the Aztec Jungle, before jumping on board the magical Cadabra ride.

From there, you will visit the 4D Chocolate Adventure zone, a unique cinema experience featuring Cadbury’s most popular characters.

You will also learn how Cadbury chocolate was made as one of the famous Cadbury World chocolatiers guides you through the traditional chocolate-making technique of tempering. You can even have a go for yourself!

You also have the chance to explore the history of Cadbury’s amazing advertising. From the Crunchie Rollercoaster to the drumming Gorillas, you can explore how it was all made.

This self-guided tour and chocolate experience is a great day out for all the family. From playing in chocolate rain or mixing your favourite treat to a delicious pot of warm liquid Cadbury Dairy Milk.

After all that fun, you can recharge at the Cadbury Café. Serving everything from sandwiches and cake to a wide range of hearty main meals, the café has something to suit all tastes. And it’s not just for Cadbury World visitors.

The café is open to everyone, so if you’re just visiting the area, you can still come inside and enjoy your morning coffee or have a picnic in the sunny gardens.
