Shutters are simple to operate, easy to clean and look fantastic. Their versatile design provides absolute privacy when closed and partial privacy when tilted open, to temper the light. The addition of a privacy bar (mid-rail) splits the wooden louvre section into two independently controlled sections, allowing the "eye-level" louvres to be closed for privacy, whilst the upper section of the wooden shutter can be tilted to suit the level of light ingress required.
