About Cottonmill
Just south of St Albans city centre, the suburb of Cottonmill is home to the St Albans Abbey railway station. This relatively small facility is run by London Northwestern Railway, offering services into the capital. St Albans Abbey is the name anecdotally given to the cathedral, once the abbey church of a much larger monastery in the area.
A prominent feature of Cottonmill is the Griffiths Retail Park (also known as Abbey View).
