Foxhall Stadium is a stock car stadium located a few miles east of Ipswich. The 382m oval is one of the largest and fastest speedway tracks in the country. If you are looking for speed and excitement, you have come to the right place!
Foxhall Stadium hosts some of the biggest championships in the stock car calendar, including the National Banger World Final and the National Hot Rod World Championship.
The stadium is also home to the Ipswich Witches speedway team. Established in 1950, the Witches are one of the longest-running speedway teams in the UK. The track record for the speedway circuit is just 55.5 seconds, achieved by Danny King in 2017.
Foxhall Stadium holds around 10,000 people who come to enjoy stock car and speedway action. There is covered grandstand seating on the home straight and 3,500 uncovered seats along the back straight. There are outside terraced viewing areas around most of the track.
There are two bars, plus fast food outlets around the stadium. The Tim Woodward VIP lounge is available to meeting sponsors. There is also a track shop that sells a range of club merchandise including clothing and souvenirs.
Foxhall Stadium is proudly open to everyone. There is wheelchair access and a wheelchair viewing area at the stadium, so everyone can enjoy the action. The stadium holds speedway and stock car events every week, so there is always something to see.
The traditional main events at the Stadium include The National Hot Rod Championship of the World held the first weekend every July and the Gala Night, which is held the closest Saturday night to Guy Fawkes Night.
You can find Foxhall Stadium just off the A12 on the way to Yarmouth. There is free parking within the stadium grounds.
