Grand Stand Road, Worcester WR1 3EJ

Worcester Racecourse has been hosting horse races since 1718 at least! The race course is just short of 100 acres and is around 13 furlongs in length with nine fences. The racetrack is flat, with left-handed easy turns, portable fences and a long home straight.

The location of Worcester Racecourse is picturesque, with the racecourse sitting next to the banks of the River Severn. It is easy to get to, with main motorway routes nearby and Worcester Foregate Station just a ten-minute walk away.

If you are feeling particularly suave, you can land your helicopter on the racecourse – you just need to contact the racecourse beforehand to confirm you have permission in advance!

As you may know, there are rules around etiquette when it comes to dressing for the races, and Worcester Racecourse takes this very seriously.

If you are visiting the Severn Restaurant or dining in a private box, you can adopt a smart casual look, however if you are participating in Ladies Day, it is important to dress to impress!

Worcester Racecourse was actually shortlisted to the final five for the Food and Beverage category at the Racecourse Association Showcase Awards for its Severn Restaurant.

The restaurant offers incredible views over the racecourse, and serves locally sourced and seasonal food, with a combination of British and European cuisine.

Packages are available if you are looking to visit the racecourse, which can include dining packages, making your visit extra special, which guarantee a VIP Race Sponsor Table. Private boxes are also available at Worcester Racecourse to ensure your visit is exclusive and special.

The racecourse itself is the chosen location for a large number of social events, including festivals, live music, family fun days, Christmas parties and much, much more!
