Discover plantation shutters in Bracknell

We are finding that tier-on-tier and full height plantation shutters are becoming a popular choice in Bracknell. Not only do they create a real style statement, they also offer a range of benefits including thermal insulation and complete control over privacy and light.

We are shutter specialists, not window covering generalists, so we can advise you with confidence about the right material and style to suit your windows. For example, our ABS Java product is 100% waterproof, so we’d suggest this for your bathroom rather than MDF or hardwood. Our premium Samoa range is crafted from sustainably sourced white teak in its stained finish.

About Bracknell

The lovely town of Bracknell is a mixture of new and old. Situated within the county of Berkshire, it is just 30 miles from central London, with excellent road and rail links. Bracknell a major commuter centre for both Reading and London Waterloo.

The area around the town is stunning, with two large expanses of woodland called Swinley and Crowthorne Woods, making it a wonderful place to live. Its popularity has led to the need for many new homes and expansion has taken place rapidly.

The ‘Old Manor’ public house, with its priest holes, dates back to the 17th century, while the ‘Hind’ claims to be where the highwayman, Dick Turpin drank. Now, sitting alongside such a rich history, the town centre is undergoing major refurbishment, with the construction of shops, restaurants and a cinema, giving the town a new lease of life.

With properties ranging from contemporary apartment blocks and modern new builds through to characterful homes, interior shutters are becoming the window covering of choice.
