Mount Batten, Plymouth, Devon, PL9 9XH
Plymouth Yacht Haven is located on the Mount Batten side of Plymouth Sound, just west of the Mount Batten Tower. It is one of the best berths in Plymouth and an ideal place to moor your boat.
With 450 fully serviced berths with power and water, Plymouth Yacht Haven Shaw Way offers a premium berthing experience. The marina is accessible at all states of the tide and is well-protected from the prevailing south-westerly winds.
Visiting boats are very welcome, but make sure you book your berth in advance.
With an on-site chandlery, bar and restaurant as well as easy links to Plymouth city centre, Plymouth Yacht Haven is the perfect location for visiting vessels.
The Bridge Bar and Restaurant has a stunning waterside location. Overlooking the marina, you get a fantastic venue for breakfast, coffees and cake, a casual meal or a special occasion.
Like the marina, the restaurant is sheltered from the worst of the sea winds thanks to Mount Batten. This makes it a great location to eat al fresco on summer evenings.
The menu changes daily and features much local produce. The restaurant specialises on local fish that is caught out in the harbour.
At the eastern end of Plymouth Yacht Haven lies Turnchapel Wharf, the former home to the 539 Royal Marines Assault Squadron. As part of military streamlining, the squadron left the site in 2014 and repositioned on the shores of the River Tamar.
Turnchapel Wharf is now home to a new waterfront commercial business site. The historic site has been tastefully redesigned into a modern, state-of-the-art business location.
So whether you have arrived by land or by sea, there is something for you enjoy when visiting the Plymouth Yacht Haven Shaw Way.
