About Cirencester
A market town in Gloucestershire, Cirencester is approximately 93 miles from London and a little under 15 miles from Cheltenham. Situated along the banks of the River Churn, it is the largest town within the District of the Cotswolds. The name comes from Roman times when it was known as Corinium and the local museum has a wonderful collection of Roman artefacts.
